Visit the museum and see Denmark’s largest collection of armoured vehicles, artillery and other effects related to the development of the armoured and artillery weapons in the Danish Army.

The museum itself is located in Oksbøl town which is close to Denmark’s largest shooting and training ground in connection with Oksbøl Barracks (formerly Oksbøllejeren).

Opening hours and tickets

Activities

Practical informations:

  • Wheelchair users have access to all exhibition halls.
  • Free parking is available at the museum, follow the signs.
  • You can pay in cash and with the most common credit cards.
  • Smoking not allowed on the museum grounds.
  • Access to vehicles and other exhibits may be restricted or prohibited, follow the signs.
  • For vehicles that may be ‘crawled on’, please use the orange ladders provided for access, all traffic on vehicles is at your own risk!
  • Dogs are not allowed inside the museum buildings.
  • The museum is under constant video surveillance and has alarms on doors and windows.
  • You are very welcome to take photos of the vehicles and objects on display.
  • Please note that our large exhibition halls are not heated, but they are kept frost-free, ie the temperature in the halls largely follows the season.

Guided tour

Guided tours are offered, it’s possible to get a deeper insight into the history of the vehicles, the life around them and in what way they have been used in the Army.

Guided tours can be arranged inside and outside the normal opening hours.
